Commentary--- "Mainhandling Our Military"

If nothing else, One can certainly say without any Doubt that President Obama has delivered on His Promise of Change.

One of these most Profound and likely unknown Changes to most Citizens is the laundry list of "Policy Adjustments" and new "Ideas" the President and others of His Party ilk have for the American Military.

Let Us not forget the VERY FIRST Executive Order by the then New President Obama promising to close the Guantanamo Bay Terrorist Detention Facility within a Year. Some would argue, including this Chair, that with one single stroke of the Pen President Obama invalidates all the Efforts made over the last Eight Years by Our Military in trying to capture this large vat of inhuman Scum, not to mention sending a Signal to the rest of the often Naively Mistaken Peoples of the West that Our Military was somehow not professional or Efficient enough in Their Task to secure these Undesirables. Quite simply, no OTHER Agency or Military could or WOULD accomplish this task better than Ours.

Then there are the continuing whispers around Washington that the President may work to revoke the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" Policy concerning closeted Homosexual members of the American Military. While One could effectively make the case that a currently created "Secret Class" of Persons within out Armed Services may not be in the best Traditions of Our Republic, no one could argue that A recent Poll done on the Subject shows that the Majority of US Servicemen and Women do not want the Policy repealed. Certainly forcing a change in Government policy on a "captive" Population who do not want it would undermine Unit Cohesion.

A Week ago there was an official order put out by the Obama-driven Pentagon that no active Military Aircraft would be allowed to perform a flyover at the Treasure Valley "God And Country" Festival in Idaho simply because the Name of the Festival has GOD in It. Which the Military has, up until this Year, faithfully aided in the Celebration of for the last 42 Years. (Way-to-Go, Mr. President, stick it to Them 'Thar' Patriotic "Hayseeds!" )

NOW even as recently as earlier this Week, News was leaked that this Obama-As-Commander-In-Chief-driven Pentagon is considering an all-out ban of Smoking on all Military Installations and Bases AND potentially a permanent Ban against future Recruitment of American Smokers into the Armed Services.


Before continuing further, let Me say, for the Record....I HATE SMOKING. I do not like to be in the midst of It whenever possible, and I think It is one of the most utterly stupid Habits that One could get Themselves into. (Highly Addictive but relatively low level of "Buzz Benefit" when compared with OTHER Highly Addictive substances, not to mention the Heath Risks and "Ick Factor.") It's primarily a Habit that One gets "sucked into" through Social Peer Pressure, and being as I am ALMOST completely Immune to caring about Social Pressure, or most Social Groups in general, there is little or no chance that I could ever take up Smoking.

HOWEVER, I am an Individualist. And in the end, I'd say there is Irony in My Position on this Issue.

For the very same Reason that I personally am not a Smoker, I STRONGLY DISAGREE AND PROTEST the possible (make that likely) idiotic implementation of this Policy.

Why? Like I just said, I'm an Individualist. I do not smoke because I do not care, nor have I EVER carried about "fitting in" with the Activities of the "Group." I care about what I THINK above Everything...what OTHER People think or do is WAY down on My Priority List when compared with My own Thoughts and Actions.

Oh, but I am also an American and the Son of a former Military Serviceman. As such, in addition to being an Individualist, I strongly support Personal Liberty in almost all matters. Just as I had the choice once long ago, and so chose to sit, cough, and tear up like a crying Baby while trapped in a Car full of SIX smoking Teenagers rather than become one of Them, Other Americans have had that same choice, and could choose, and did, to take the Cigarette and start Smoking.

Being an American and believing in Personal Liberty are One and the Same. Any other Belief contrary to this Principle is unequivocally Treason. The Government MAY have an Argument against permitting Smoking in enclosed PUBLIC Spaces because permitting Smoking therein COULD possibly infringe on the Personal Liberty of Non-Smokers to avoid any Exposure to the Smoke, but the Government has NO RIGHT to dictate what One must do within Their own Residences or Property.

Therefore, Authority cannot Totally ban Individuals from Smoking at ANY Time or Place in Private...and ESPECIALLY not in regard to the very Institution (The Military) that protects Our Rights and Liberties, and GUARDS the very "Thrones" by which These Government Retards sit in cushy insulated Comfort and attempt to impose Their Tyrannies upon Their "Subjects."

Let Us remember, if the Retard Treasonists on the Hill and in the House Blanco can strip away the obvious "Common Sense" Freedoms of Those Who serve in the most well-respected (or even "sacred" ) Role in American Life without ANY apparent regard for what is Correct, just because that particular Freedom is currently unpopular with Them, just IMAGINE how quickly and easily They will have Their designer jack-booted Wingtips on Your Neck when YOUR "unenlightened" Rights are in Their crosshairs!

Let there be no Doubt, the Leftists Treasonists that the slumbering Electorate were foolish enough to put into Office last November now truly want to deliver on Their promises of Change...it is not really a Question of doing, but of "Meaning."

Is Their Idea of "Change" better for America? Do you Civilian Citizen REALLY think so? Do You think It's working?

Then tell that to the Army. Tell that to The Navy, Tell that to The Coast Guard, Tell THAT to the Air Force and the National Guard. Tell that to the Marines.

For it seems that They are the first captive "Guinea Pigs" of the Progressive Commander-In-Chief's "revamping by Fiat" of the Institution They alone have served and protected.

Perhaps it is Time for Us all to wake up and come to the Aide of those Men and Women who have so long come to Ours in Times of Crisis. After all, this type of Battle is not the kind the Military is best-suited to wage, this is a Fight that specifically requires an undisciplined Mob Approach of Nuissance, an Individualist approach, a group or singular Persons on Their own Who are willing to Cry out in loud unrelenting Voices of Anger out of turn even when They are not spoken to. In other Words, this Fight DEMANDS the "enlistment" of the Civilian...This Fight needs YOU...the American Civilian...and needs You NOW!

If You cannot stand up for the Rights of the American Serviceman, who then in turn will be left in the Bullpen later on to stand up for You when It's YOUR turn to lose Your Liberties?

Do your Duty American Civilian Patriot, if not for Our Comrades in Arms, then for Yourself, before Your Rights too slowly go up in Smoke.
